Ubisoft Announce That They Will Reveal A Brand New Driver Game At E3
Ubisoft has revealed that a new instalment of their popular getaway franchise; Driver will be unveiled at next month’s E3 in LA. The last Driver game that I personally bought; Driv3r, was released back in 2004 on the Playstation 2 and the original Xbox. Marketed heavily prior to its release, Driver 3 tanked critically winning the not-so-much-coveted MegaGames.com Worst Game Of 2004 award. The follow-up; Driver: Parallel Lines, released two years later in 2006 fared a little better critically with IGN.com stating that… “It’s still not perfect, but it’s not broken either.” Hopefully, this time around Ubisoft will finally realize the potential in the series and deliver us a Driver game that’s actually worthy of…
Could Microsoft Be Getting Ready To Call Project Natal The Wave?
Could Microsoft be planning on calling what we currently know as Project Natal the Wave? Well, that’s what the internet rumours are suggesting. NowGamer is reporting that a source close to Microsoft has confirmed that the motion camera’s final name will be the Wave. So, is this true? Well, it’s hard to say, we know that Microsoft are only using the name Project Natal as a place-holder but I always had the sneaky suspicion that they would stick with the name as everyone knows it by now and a name-change, this late in the game, would probably confuse a lot of people. Still, it could happen but the Wave? Didn’t Google just announce something called…

Talking to the UK Playstation blog, House was asked; after the release of Gran Turismo 5, what is the next big game for the PS3, to which he replied… “We have just announced LittleBigPlanet 2, which is very exciting. The original game changed the way developers now look at developing games and the things Media Molecule has done with the sequel are truly incredible. I can’t wait for LBP2 to come out and can promise you that it will be great.” He then went on to emphasise Sony’s commitment to working with first party…
Billy Elliot To Be The Next Spider-Man?
Billy Elliot star Jamie Bell is apparently among the candidates to take over the Spider-Man role in Marc Webb’s upcoming Spider-Man reboot. According to The Hollywood Reporter the British actor has had meetings with Webb although as of yet, no filmed tests have taken place. Bell, who also starred in Peter Jackson’s King Kong is up against a couple of other young actors who are all lobbying for the iconic star-making role. Bell’s apparent rivals for the gig are Andrew Garfield (he played the reporter in Red Riding), Frank Dillane (from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) and Alden Ehrenreich. Out of the above named actors, Bell is perhaps the best known by the general…
Logan’s Run Remake Waiting On Director Before Moving Forward
Director Eril Rinsch is being lined up to take charge of Joel Silver and Andrew Rona’s upcoming Logan’s Run remake. For those of you who haven’t heard of Erik Rinsch; don’t worry; he’s a bit of a newbie who made a short movie that everyone loves called The Gift. Anyway, according to Heat Vision, Warner Bros are holding off on hiring a writer until they sign Reinsch to the project. So, as you can imagine if Warner have yet to sign a writer and are waiting on the director to give them his John Handcock then casting details will definitely slim on the ground. Joel Silver and Akiva Goldsman will produce Logan’s Run which is…
