Sony Team Up With LucasArts For Free Star Wars MMO
Sony Online Entertainment has teamed up with LucasArts to develop a free-to-play Star Wars MMO based on the Clone Wars called, wait for it; Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures.
Before you get too excited, it’s being aimed at kids.
The game will be released online and in stores in the Autumn on the PC.
I’ll now hand you over to Mary Bihr, the publishing chief for LucasArts to do her PR thing…
“Clone Wars Adventures will be the most authentic and accessible Clone Wars experience for kids and families to play in their very own living room,”
Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventure will feature starfighter space combat, speeder bike racing, puzzles and a variety of tower defence style games. There will be two ways to play the game, you will either be able to just jump in and play for free and purchase add-ons via micro-transactions or you can simply stump up and pay a monthly fee which will see you get access to more content.
