The Crow Reboot Is Ready To Go Into Production
The producer for the upcoming Crow reboot, Edward Pressman; has told MTV that the screenplay for the movie has been completed and he expects the project to go into production later in the year.
As well as confirming that the screenplay had been completed he also explained some of the changes between the reboot and the original Brandon Lee-starring The Crow.
In particular he drew attention to the Crow itself which he described as…
“a creature… it’s not just a bird. It’s got a personality and a character. Not like Godzilla exactly, but it’s very different [and has] a more active role in the story.”
Not like Godzilla exactly?
I don’t like the sound of that. What could that possibly mean? The original Crow in The Crow wasn’t exactly like Godzilla yet no one felt the need to point that out.
I hope it doesn’t talk with an offensive Jamaican accent…
Anyway, Pressman did go on to reveal something very interesting.
He claims that an offer has gone out to a major actor to play the lead role.
Who could that be?
