Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen is expected to plead guilty and serve some jail time for his arrest for domestic violence on Christmas Day.

According to several sites including People and TMZ, the star is expected to be sentenced to 30 days in prison though it is thought that he should be able to get out after 15 or 17 days if he plays the whole ‘good behaviour’ angle.

It is generally thought that Sheen will begin his prison sentence next week which means that the star of the perplexingly popular Two and a Half Men won’t have to miss a single day of shooting the next season as production isn’t due to commence until August.

Now, call me stupid but when they say Sheen will be going to jail, do they mean the real jail where the screws beat the crap out of the inmates or do they mean some sort of open prison where the whole joint is nothing more than a glorified youth club for adults?
