To celebrate the launch of their brand new KillZone website Sony has released a teaser trailer for their upcoming Killzone 3 which shows off the game’s new melee system which, I might add; looks brutally painful.

The rendered trailer showcases the new melee system in glorious slow-motion.

Developer; Guerrilla Games have promised that we won’t have to wait long before we get to see a trailer which shows actual gameplay which I would assume will debut at E3 which is just around the corner.

Personally I’m no fan of rendered trailers. They show us absolutely nothing tangible and this trailer is no exception. Still, it sets the tone for what we can expect to see in Killzone 3 which while it isn’t on top of my ‘most wanted’ list it’s still a video game that I am looking forward to.

I always thought that there was something wrong with Killzone 2, something which I just could not put my finger on but hopefully this time round Guerrilla Games will deliver a classic.
