Goldeneye To Be Revealed For The Wii And DS At E3?
There is a rumour doing the rounds that the N64 classic first person shooter Goldeneye could be headed for the Nintendo Wii.
Now, I know what you’re going to say; “we’ve heard all this before” but this time there really does seems to be substance to the rumour.
The rumour comes from the credible video games website Eurogamer who claim to have it on good authority that giant video game publisher Activision is going to make an official announcement that Goldeneye will be released on both the Wii and the Nintendo DS.
Back in January 2008 it was reported that Rare (the developers of Goldeneye on the N64) were working on a HD update for Microsoft’s XBLA but was scrapped after a dispute between Microsoft and Nintendo.
Well, it seems that Activision has now stepped in and remedied the situation though the suggestion that it will be released on the Wii and the DS only is somewhat disappointing. Especially if it’s just a straight port.
Anyway, some Goldeneye is better than no Goldeneye eh?
