Project Natal To Cost $149 And Get A Name Change?

MCV are reporting that Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox 360 motion sensing add-on; Project Natal will cost 149 dollars when it goes to retail.

The price leak was first reported in Edge Online yesterday afternoon and was said to have come from a “trusted source” of the video game portal.

Only a year ago it was thought that Project Natal would retail for 50 bucks, or at least that’d what some outlets tried to get us to believe, (I think we may have reported it too!) so this new 150 dollar price point is going to be a bitter pill to swallow if true.

As well as the new price-point, CVG are reporting that Microsoft have finally settled on a new name for their device but are keeping it secret until E3 rolls around.

I’m going with Wave for the new name. Think about it; 360 Wave or Wave 360, there’s a certain charm about it isn’t there?
