The folks over at Activision must have looked at Tap Tap Revenge on the iPhone and thought to themselves; “why the hell aren’t we doing that?”

Well, they’ve finally gotten around to giving us iPhone/iPod owners a Guitar Hero app.

For $2.99 you’ll get the Guitar Hero app and six FREE games.

Um, okay…doesn’t like a great deal does it?

Wouldn’t it be cheaper to just download Tap Tap Revenge and fill it up with the free weekly songs?

So, the free songs, you want to know what they are?

- Queen – “We Are the Champions”

-The White Stripes – “Seven Nation Army”

-Rise Against – “Savior”

-Weezer – “Say It Ain’t So”

-Vampire Weekend – “Cousins”

-Rolling Stones – “Paint it Black”

Any of them worth the 3 bucks to you?

Personally, I’m going to stick with Tap Tap Revenge. I think maybe that Activision left it a little late to get in on the iPhone action.
