Fright Night Remake Gets Criss Angel-Type Character
If we take Variety at their word then their upcoming Fright Night remake will be set in Las Vegas and not the suburbs like the original was.
And that’s not all, instead of a frumpy old TV vampire hunter like in the first movie it seems that the producers are going for a Criss Angel type personality to aide Anton Yelchin’s Charley Brewster in his fight against Colin Farrell’s vampire.
At first, when I heard they were moving the location to Vegas I was like, “ew, what are they doing to one of my favourite movies?” but the more I digest it the more it makes sense.
Now I’m geeking up for it like you wouldn’t believe and with a Criss Angel type character in tow I can only see all kinds of crazy crap going down.
The Fright Night remake is being directed by Craig Gillespie and will star Star Trek’s Anton Yelchin.
