The Muppet Reboot Getting Ready For Christmas 2010
Anybody who isn’t excited about the proposed Muppet movie reboot can’t have a pulse. Of all the movies in the Hollywood pipeline, the Muppets reboot is perhaps my most anticipated; although I have to point out that the project hasn’t received the official greenlight yet from Walt Disney Studios.
Anyway, even though writers Jason Segel and Nicholas Stoller (they wrote Forgetting Sarah Marshall together) have yet to hand in their final script they have been given a release date. (Not bad considering there is no official Go!)
December 25th, 2011. Christmas Day!
That puts the movie up against Sherlock Holmes 2 for the 2011 holiday season…
So, about the script which they are about to hand in to director James Bobin; it is said that Segel and Stoller are looking to introduce a brand new Muppet to the series. (Surely there are enough Muppets already?)
