Michael Jackson Death Doctor Allowed to Practice Medicine
Dr. Conrad Murray, the doctor implicated in the death of pop icon, Michael Jackson, will be allowed to keep his medical license.
Murray pleaded not guilty but was ultimately charged last February with involuntary manslaughter for administering the potent anesthetic, propofol last June to Jackson. The superstar had complained of not being able to sleep.
Michael Pastor, Superior Court Judge, denied the request by authorities in California to suspend Murray from practicing medicine in the state. Pastor claimed that he did not have the authority to revoke Murray’s license. Attorneys for Murray had fought the license restriction claiming that Texas and Nevada authorities would follow suit. Murray, who operates clinics in both of these states has been ordered not to administer anesthetics to any of his patients.
Murray, a cardiologist, made news again in May when he assisted a woman on an airplane flight. He was said to stabilize her pulse after she lost consciousness. He is free on $75,000 bail for his reported role in the death of Michael Jackson.

Michael Jackson’s death was a massive surprise for anyone who loves music, although looking back it was possibly not so unexpected. The child molestation charges pressed upon him had a massive impact on his health. As soon as he started to depend on prescription drugs to just get by, that was when there came to be no way back, in my opinion.
