In its opening weekend, the new animated sequel in the Toy Story franchise hit it big by racking in over $109. It topped Disney Pixar’s, “The Incredibles,” $70.5 million opening as their best film debut.

It is no surprise. Woody and the gang are forced to examine their mortality in the face of their kid growing up and leaving home. We all deal with the reality of saying goodbye to our beloved toys when we leave the nest. It is a relatable concept for most of us.

Tom Hanks and Tim Allen return to reprise their roles as the cowboy, Woody, and the astronaut, Buzz Lightyear, respectively.

There are the delightful scenes in the movie like when the gang attempts to help a taco walk using Mr. Potato Head’s legs.

All in all, it is a touching film with lots of laughs and great animation. Parents will enjoy the humor and touching story of this film as much as their children.
