While millions of displaced marine animals are being smothered by oil contamination and millions of people are losing their livelihoods that rely on the Gulf Coast, Tony Hayward, ousted CEO of BP, decided it might be a good idea to take a respite on his yacht.

It is true that Mr. Hayward has been the focus of attentions and ridicule for the handling of the crisis in the gulf. And, it stands to reason that he may deserve a bit of rest and relaxation with his family while dealing with the heat of the crisis.

But, the truth is that with all of the suffering that has been associated with the accident that lead to the spewing of oil into the ocean, BP has been severely lacking in public relations prowess or compassion for that matter.

Mr. Hayward was recently ousted from his lead role at BP and replaced by Bob Dudley, their Managing Director.
