Pop star Alicia Keys revealed her baby bump during a concert she was performing at the Palais Omnisports de Paris on Monday night.

UsMagazine.com reported on Thursday that Keys confirmed she is pregnant. She also is engaged to fiancé, Swizz Beatz, 31, a producer.

Born Alicia Augello Cook, the 29-year-old singer was raised in the Hell’s Kitchen area of Manhattan in New York City. She began to play classical piano at the age of 7 and later attended the Professional Performing Arts School where she graduated at 16 as valedictorian. She began attending Columbia University in New York until she dropped out to pursue a career in music. Her debut album, “Songs in A Minor,” worldwide sold over 12 millions copies.

“Songs in A Minor” earned Keys the honor of best-selling new artist and best-selling R&B artist of 2001 as well as five Grammy Awards in 2002. Her following albums have also been commercial successes.
