It was reported last week by Us Weekly that actor, Jason Bateman,was booed for cutting a long of about 2,000 waiting to make their purchase of the iPhone 4 outside of an Apple store in Los Angeles. But Bateman insists that this simply isn’t true.

Bateman, 41, has been tweeting in an attempt to set the record straight, “There wasn’t one boo. Not one hiss.”

According the Us Weekly, a potential iPhone purchaser who was waiting on the massive line commented, “Everyone literally started booing and hissing! There were also reports by the magazine that another onlooker said, “The crowd freaked and booed, and he put his head down,”

But Bateman is unhappy with how he is being portrayed. He insists he did not cut the line last Thursday. “The Apple guy brought me in away from the paparazzi,” he clarified. “Period. I was content in line. I wish I’d stayed.”
