“I wanted something that resembled a rebirth or a change in me,” Gosselin told RadarOnline.com. He is now sporting a black and gray dragon that is holding an unrolled scroll in each claw. Each scroll lists the names and dates of birth of his eight children.

A mysterious ninth name appears on the scroll as well. It is reported to represent the name of his most recent lady friend, 23-year-old Ellen Ross.

Jon chose a dragon to represent his mother’s Korean heritage. He reportedly told RadarOnline.com that the image took 14 hours to ink. He told the publication that he broke the time up into two sessions that were two weeks apart.

This is not Gosselin’s first trip to the tattoo parlor. He told RadarOnline.com that he also sports a Korean flag on one of his shoulders. “I have planned this tattoo for years now.” He reportedly told Radar.
