Nikki Blonsky who gained widespread recognition for her role in the movie version of the musical “Hairspray” is not afraid to let it all hang out in her new ABC Family show “Huge.”

Blonsky told Us Magazine during an interview, “I’m just comfortable and confident in my body. I could care less that the world is seeing me in a bathing suit right now. I think they finally know what I look like in a bathing suit, if they were wondering.”

When asked about her upcoming television show, Blonsky commented. “I play a character called Willhelmina. She’s awesome, she’s totally against the grain, She doesn’t want to lose weight. She thinks fitness camp is stupid and that’s why I love her, because she doesn’t want to do anything that the camp wants her to do. I feel awesome, I think there’s nothing better than just showing my confidence and showing that I love my body. Why not share it with L.A., New York, everywhere?”

“Huge” will appear on ABC Family on Monday nights.
