Where has Lauryn Hill, singer and solo artist, been the last several years? Since her last solo album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” there has been little heard from her the ex-lead singer of the Fugees.

For one, she has had five children – the youngest of which is two years old. But according to NPR, who spoke to Hill outside of a concert in California, she has been quite busy as a mother. During her interview she told NPR that she is just starting to get out on her own again after being consumed with raising her family.

“I’m starting to get excited again,” Hill reportedly said to NPR. “Believe it or not, I think what people are attracted to about me, if anything, is my passion. People got exposed to my passion through music and song first. I think people might realize, you know, ‘We love the way she sounds, we love the music, but I think we just love how fearless she is. How boundless she is, when it comes to what she wants to do.’ And I think that can be infectious.”
