Transformers 3 Set to Film in Chicago

Chicago will be a buzz this summer with the filming of the third installment in the Transformers franchise. Reportedly, the production will pump an estimated $20 million into the local economy. In addition, 200 jobs will be created. Crews will be filming in the streets which will create traffic jams as a result. LA Magazine reports that Lohan will promote her 6126 line of purses by posing naked. Named for Marilyn Monroe’s birthday (6/1/26), the ad will shoot at some point next month. Lohan will still be donning her court-ordered SCRAM bracelet. Reportedly, she was denied a request to remove the bracelet for the shoot. But, photographers can be crafty. After a series of disparaging remarks made against certain members of the Obama administration, the President accepted the resignation of General Stanley A. McChrystal who was commander of American forces in Afghanistan. “I welcome debate among my team, but I won’t tolerate division,” stated the President during his announcement. Amid rumors of marital infidelity, rising star, female Republican gubernatorial candidate, Nikki Haley, became the front-runner in the race for Governor of the conservative state, South Carolina. She won the primary with 65% of the vote while her opponent, Representative Gresham Barrett, the four-term congressman, earned only 35%.
