Miley Cyrus Performs In LA

Veiled in controversy of late, Miley Cyrus took to the stage in LA Monday night and performed tracks from her new album, “Can’t Be Tamed.” The venue was the House of Blues in West Hollywood and available via MTV’s live stream online. Perhaps due to Cyrus’ incarnation into adulthood and all of the controversy surrounding her chosen method of dress these days, risqué, the audience was not limited to teeny boppers. Seems that Cyrus has a fan base who are her peers as well as adults who seemed to know every word to every song she sang. She opened with “Can’t Be Tamed,” the title song off of her album and performed provocatively as expected…

Friday, June 25 will mark the one-year anniversary of the death of pop icon, Michael Jackson. To commemorate the occasion, CNN will run a special “Michael Jackson: His Final days,” set to air on the anniversary of his death at 8:00 PM, EST. “I think that when you’re talking about Michael Jackson and you try to analyze him, it’s like analyzing electricity, you know? Last summer more than 100,000 borrowers registered for the program every month. This year, the number has dropped to 30,000. It is believed that the drop is a result…

Toy Story 3 – The Best of the Bunch

In its opening weekend, the new animated sequel in the Toy Story franchise hit it big by racking in over $109. It topped Disney Pixar’s, “The Incredibles,” $70.5 million opening as their best film debut. It is no surprise. Woody and the gang are forced to examine their mortality in the face of their kid growing up and leaving home. We all deal with the reality of saying goodbye to our beloved toys when we leave the nest. It is a relatable concept for most of us. Tom Hanks and Tim Allen return to reprise their roles as the cowboy, Woody, and the astronaut, Buzz Lightyear, respectively. There are the delightful scenes in the movie…
