“Eclipse” – It May
The “Twilight” saga has been a tremendous success. Stephanie Meyer’s series of books revealing the story of a family of “vegetarian” vampires has drawn followers from all walks of life. The latest release in the movie franchise, “Eclipse”, which opens today, the third film in the series and best reviewed yet, will probably be the biggest box office draw. Although, this should not be any surprise. If the three lead characters sat and stared at the screen for 2 hours, it would be a huge box office success, especially if Taylor Lautner were shirtless. But where the previous two installments may have fallen short, director, David Slade, may have gotten it right with “Eclipse.” The…
Brett Michaels Believes in the Healing Power of Music
“Whatever it is, I live my life passionately,” Michaels told Parade magazine. “And music is a powerful healer for me. I’ve learned a lot of it is mind over matter. Once I knew that I had a chance to survive the brain hemorrhage, I was taking life and grabbing it for everything I could.” And grabbing life, he is. After surviving an emergency appendectomy, a hemorrhage in his brain and a small stroke, Michaels, 47, is on tour. A lesser performer might be taking a respite from the road, but not Michaels, who recently learned he also has a hole in his heart for which he will need to undergo surgery within the next several…
A New Star Shines on Spain’s Soccer Heaven – David Villa

However, solely looking at the numbers and stats, he is one of the most efficient players in the 2010 Soccer World Cup. Villa, who just signed with Barcelona, has undoubtedly the most productive player of the ongoing tournament. His most recent accomplishment: the 1-0 over Portugal that sent their archrivals back home and Spain on to advance to the quarterfinals. Spain had a rough start in this year’s World Cup. And their recovery must be in large part credited to Villa’s innovative…
Cristiano Ronaldo Spitting and Spewing Over Loss to Spain
The 2010 World Soccer Cup was not Cristiano Ronaldo’s tournament. Portugal’s top striker never found his rhythm and was seemingly disappointed with himself and his teammates, who can now travel back home after losing to Spain in the round of 16 with a 0:1 score. But actually, there might be even more damage than just today’s loss. Portugal ‘s number 7 was understandably upset after the conclusion of the match and as he walked off the field he spit into the direction of a cameraman. The question is: did he do it on purpose expressing his frustration or was it a harmless and rather innocent coincidence caught on tape? Either way, the online-world is outraged…

Armstrong, 38, has won seven titles in the Tour de France. He consecutively won top honors from 1999-2005. In 2009, he placed third after taking a hiatus for four years.
