Restraining Order Filed Against Mel Gibson’s Ex-Girlfriend

As reported by People magazine, Mel Gibson, 54, has filed a restraining order against Russian singer and musician, Oksana Grigorieva. The two were together for about one year when they split in April of this year. Grigorieva is the mother of Lucia, their 7-month old daughter. RadarOnline, who broke the story, reported that the order revolves around Gibson’s access to his daughter. Court documents in the case are sealed. Grigorieva, 40, is reportedly still residing in a home that is owned by Gibson in Sherman Oaks, California. Reports revealed that she was served the court documents there. The opening scene is riveting and promises excitement and adventure will follow, and then……nothing. Grown Ups, Not Really

As much as I enjoy the comedy of Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade, Rob Schnieder and Kevin James, I was disappointed in the sophomoric humor that made the 98 minute running time of this movie seem more like a short lifetime. Filled with adlibs and self-admiration, this film wastes the talents of these very talented comediennes. The plot, full of cheap bunion and flatulence jokes, reunites five friends from childhood after they all attend the funeral of their championship high school basketball coach.
