Hugh Laurie, who plays a miserable TV doctor on the hit series “House,” may see a few smiles in the shows seventh season. Filming of the season is already underway. Rumor has it that he and his love interest, Lisa Cuddy (played by actress, Lisa Edelstein) will share some blissful moments on the show.

What does this mean for the future of the show? What would House be without miserable Dr. Gregory House not being so miserable afterall? Will this change the show?
“Even the appearance of happiness [in House] has taken some getting used to,” Laurie told Entertainment Weekly magazine. “I had a week of happiness training before the season started up, and I’m whistling more than usual.”
All of the blissful moments are set to take place in the season premiere of the show where Cuddy and House will be canoodling and laughing on the beach. Seems they will have the rest of the season to catch up on the misery.
