Xbox Live Summer Of Arcade Games Dated
Last year’s Xbox Live Summer of Arcade delivered some of the best games ever seen on Microsoft’s console. From the ridiculously hard Trials HD to the equally tricky ‘Splosion Man to the sublime Shadow Complex; last year’s Summer of Arcade really raised the bar.
This year’s line-up, initially at least, doesn’t look as impressive but hopefully I will be proved wrong.
Up first is Limbo which is released on July 21st and of all the games announced, is perhaps the one I’m looking forward to the most. It’s a surreal black and white puzzle platformer that really has to be seen to be believed.
- Then we get Hydro Thunder Hurricane a week later on July 28th.
- Castlevania: Harmony of Despair arrives on August 4th offering six player co-op…
- Monday Night Combat brings third person shooting to the XBLA on August 11th.
- And to finish the summer; Lara Croft returns in Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light on August 18th.
All the games will set you back 1200 points and Microsoft has promised that if you buy at least three of them then you’ll get 400 points back.
