The New Trailer For Robert Rodriguez’s Machete Has Hit The Web
20th Century Fox has released the new trailer for Robert Rodriguez’s upcoming Machete.
For those of you who don’t know, Machete began life as a fake movie trailer as part of Rodriguez’s Grindhouse collaboration with Quentin Tarantino back in 2007. The movie trailer, which starred Danny Trejo received so much fan attention that Machete found itself with an official greenlight.
The cast for Machete is super impressive, almost equal in some ways to the cast that Sylvester Stallone has managed to assemble for The Expendables. Just take a look at the following list…

The plot for Machete sees Danny Trejo play an ex-Federale who is betrayed by the organization who hired him and launches a brutal quest for revenge. Apparently the script is so over-the-top that veteran actor Chris Cooper refused a part in the movie saying – “it’s the most absurd thing I’ve ever read”
Machete slashes its way into theatres on September 3rd.
