Mad Men star Abigail Spencer is about to join the cast of Iron Man 2 director Jon Favreau’s Cowboys &Aliens.

According to Heat Vision, the TV star will add her name to the impressive cast which already includes Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones), Daniel Craig (James Bond), Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Noah Ringer, Paul Dano, Keith Carradine (Special Agent Frank Lundy from Dexter), Clancy Brown, Ana de la Reguera and Adam Beach.

Cowboys & Aliens is the movie adaptation of the cult graphic novel from Scott Mitchell Rosenberg which sees Aliens invade the old Wild West in the mid-1800’S.

Spencer is due to the play the role of Daniel Craig’s former lover who just happens to be prostitute.

Hollywood powerhouses Steven Spielberg and Ron Howard are producing.

Interesting side note – Iron Man himself Robert Downey Jr was originally attached to Daniel Craig’s role but had to withdraw from the production due to scheduling conflicts.
