Hands up those of you who thought that Paranormal Activity 2 was just another example of Hollywood greed designed to cash in on an original movie and is just a plain bad idea.

My hand is in the air right now.

Right, okay, now keep your hand up if you’ve seen the trailer for Paranormal Activity 2 and still think a sequel to last year’s surprise smash hit is a bad idea.

Both my hands are now by my side.

The teaser trailer for Paranormal Activity 2 scared the crap out of me and reminded me why the first PA was so scary. From the look of the teaser it seems that the makers of PA2 aren’t going the Blair Witch: Book of Shadows route and are instead taking what made PA1 so scary and ramping it up.

If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, what are you waiting for?

Seriously, it’s pretty freaky. And guys, honestly, is there anything more scary than mirrors, babies and dogs in ghost movies?
