One of my favourite comedies of all time is 1998’s Free Enterprise. It followed a pair of film makers and massive Star Trek fans who met their idol William Shatner and discovered that the iconic actor was “a bit crazy”.

Well, it seems that we’re getting a sequel.

And yep, no need to ask; Shatner will return.

A couple of weeks ago Kirk revealed…

Free Enterprise…remember the film? Well we are doing a sequel, Free Enterprise 2. So they have got me involved in some fun stuff. And I will be shooting that in the next month or so.

Even though, according to most outlets, Free Enterprise 2 is due to start shooting this month, I can’t find a hell of a lot of info on the project.

Eliza Dushku and Alicia Witt are thought to be onboard but a quick check on IMDB failed to turn up anything of note.

It’s as if the project only exists in Shatners’ mind…
