Insomniac has revealed via a tweet that they would be okay with a HD Ratchet and Clank collection on the PS3 but wouldn’t like to take on the project themselves.

Here’s the tweet…

“we won’t make it, but we’d support Sony if they decided to do it,”

Well, Sony seem to like the HD collection packs as they have already given us the God of War collection and have Sly Cooper in the pipeline while there is talk of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus getting bundled together.

Man, I would love a Ratchet & Clank collection. Just to blast through 1, 2 , 3 and Gladiator again, but this time in glorious HD would be pretty sweet and trust me folks, the visuals may have aged but the gameplay is still as rock solid as ever.

Though if I’m honest I doubt whether or not Sony will push ahead with a Ratchet & Clank collection as the franchise is criminally underrated by most gamers.
