Photos of Lady Gaga playing John Lennon’s white Steinway piano have been posted to the web. Many Beatles fans are not happy about the images siting that Gaga is not worthy of playing such an iconic instrument.

The white Steinway, a gift from Lennon to his wife Yoko Ono, is a fixture in Ono’s New York City apartment. The photo shows Gaga wearing a tight body suit with fishnet stockings playing the piano and singing.

Sean Lennon, the son of Yoko Ono and John Lennon posted the photo on Twitter. He captioned it: “With gaga at mom’s house, she’s belting on the white piano…”

In response to Sean’s post, one fan responded: “WHY WOULD YOU LET LADY GAGA PLAY ON JOHN’S PIANO? I’m disappointed. >:(”

Sean’s Twitter reply: “pianos meant are to be played. Why is everyone so uptight? What should we do, lock it away in a dusty room? So judgmental…”

Amidst loads of criticism, he eventually removed the photo from Twitter.
