According to authorities, a young girl who was taken from her foster home in Norwalk, California, when she was an infant has been found in a home in Phoenix. The now 7-year-old girl was in good condition at the time she was recovered. When investigators were searching the Phoenix home as a result of a court order, a woman in the home was attempting to cover her up under a pile of clothes and towels in the bathroom shower.

At the time of her abduction as an infant, the girls was in the custody of a foster family. Three of her biological aunts came to visit the girl. While two of them distracted her foster parents, the third aunt took the girl. The girl was not found until now. While two of the aunts were later arrested in the case, the third aunt has not been found.

During her time in Phoenix, the girl’s name and birth date were changed and she was not enrolled in school. Authorities took photographs, DNA and footprints of the girl which confirm her identity. The family that she was living with in Phoenix was not related to her. No arrests have been made in the case so far.
