Peter Jackson Is Sneaking All Over The World Casting For The Hobbit
It has been well documented that The Hobbit has had its fair share of production problems, after all, one-time attached director Guillermo del Toro walked from the project due to the lack of any kind of movement.
But, if Peter Jackson; he’s the front-runner to become the new director of the Lord of the Rings prequels; gets his way, production on the movies could get underway soon.
According to Heat Vision, a deal between Jackson and the execs over at MGM is almost done.
But don’t think that Peter Jackson is simply waiting around to sign some contracts before doing any work on The Hobbit movies as rumour has it that he’s been sneaking around LA, New York and the UK and holding super secret meetings with actors. Or casting if you prefer…
It is thought that Jackson is working on the presumption that Warner’s are about to buy out MGM’s shares in the project which will give Jackson the green light to fast-track the movies into theatres in 2012 and 2013.
