Inception – A Complex, Interesting Movie
Inception is Christopher Nolan’s first movie since “The Dark Knight.” He penned the screenplay for this complex head-trip. It is no light movie fair that you can half pay attention to as with so many of the other summer movies out there this year. Nope, this one is a nail biter with complex ideas and mind games that you really need to get in to.
Leonardo DiCaprio, one of our finest actors, plays an “excavator” named Cobb. His job is to delve into the subconscious minds of people during sleep in the attempt at gaining their inner most secrets.
Cobb can’t do this bizarre task alone. It takes a team of people to make it work. But, he’s also got his own issues to deal with that plague him.
This film explores alternate states of consciousness, which is not a new concept for Nolan. He does not tell a story simply. Many sequences involve dreams-within-dreams-within-dreams. If you are in the mood for a thrilling, mind-bending adventure, “Inception” is your film.
