According to the Hollywood Reporter; crew from the upcoming Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Made were flown over to the Pixar headquarters earlier in the week to see if the Pixar Gods could help them with anything.

In much the same way that Disney sent the Tron: Legacy crew to kneel before the Pixar Jocks, the Muppet crew offered up their project to Brad Bird and co.

While we know that the meeting took place we don’t actually know what Pixar thought of the Muppet movie in its current state or what actually happened in the meeting.

Rumours that Brad Bird ate one of the crew members in some kind of sex ceremony with John Lasseter have yet to be verified.

Anyway, I just found it interesting that this is the second Disney movie that the Pixar team have been called in to give their opinion on.

Who do we blame if Tron: Legacy and The Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Made are crap?
