Some New Tron: Legacy Footage Unveiled At Comic Con

Disney showed a massive eight minutes of previously unseen footage for Tron: Legacy at Comic-Con 2010 during a panel discussion with the cast and crew.

As I wasn’t there myself I have been forced to scour the internet reading the reports of people who were and the best quote that I could find came from UK actor Michael Sheen (He’s the one who is always playing Tony Blair) who revealed that Tron: Legacy is actually the first 4D movie…

“Tron: Legacy is actually a 4D movie – Jeff Bridges brings an extra dimension of awesomeness.”

Apparently the eight minutes of unseen footage was basically a complete scene from the movie which showed Bridges’ on-screen son Sam as he finds himself in the computer world for the first time.

Here’s how Total Film described it…(If you want to read the article please go to TotalFILM.com or click here)

Anyway, for those who can’t be bothered I have handily included the new trailer at the bottom of this post which shows elements from the eight minutes of footage shown at Comic-Con. In particular I like the part where the young Jeff Bridges tells Sam that he’s not his father.

Tron Legacy hits cinemas on the 17th of December.
