Mark Ruffalo Confirmed As The New Hulk Or Is He?

It seems that Mark Ruffalo has won the role of The Incredible Hulk.

After Marvel passed on Ed Norton returning Ruffalo’s name was mentioned as a replacement along with the likes of David Tennant, Joaquin Phoenix and Adrien Brody.

Well, if you listen to Deadline then Ruffalo is in late-stage discussions despite the fact that he was “confirmed” at last weekend’s Comic-Con while Heat Vision are reporting that Ruffalo and Marvel are miles away from an agreement.

Personally I find it hard to believe that Robert Downey Jr and Samuel L Jackson were wrong when they announced Ruffalo had won the part at Marvel’s Comic-Con panel.

Heat Vision claim that while Ruffalo has had an offer from Marvel, the actor has yet to decide if he wants to sign up. The thinking is that Ruffalo is waiting to have a sit-down with Avenger’s director Joss Whedon before he commits himself.

by the way, Ed Norton made that movie great, and maybe I could tolerate Adrein Brody or Jaquean Phoenix, but this is a disaster of a choice, please un do this

I have to say that I am completely disgusted with Marvel for not working it out w/ Norton, and a guy that directed such “Gems” as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel has no room to say anything about talent, this guy said that Bruce Banner is not defined by his problems, well maybe he should check out the Hulk story a bit, Banner is completely consumed by his problems, and this guy says that Ruffalo reminds him of the Hulk from the TV show, well thats not HULK, this is the most disgusting thing that I have ever heard and I have no intention on seeing this pile of garbage that will materialize into the avengers now, oh well way to really ruin a good thing

um. Ruffalo was actually *ON* stage with the rest of the cast at SDCC, it wasn’t just RDJ talking about it… so I find it highly unlikely that the contract isn’t already signed, sealed, and delivered to TPTB.
