Street Fighter And Tekken Are Going Head To Head
Beat ‘em-up fans could not believe their eyes at this weekend’s Comic-Con when Capcom revealed a brand new video game trailer.

Street Fighter versus Tekken!
If I hadn’t seen the trailer with my own eyes I would have never believed it. Despite all the previous versus fighting crossovers I never in my wildest dreams figured that the Street Fighter crew would get it on with the Tekken posse.
Not much is known about the game which is going by the title Street Fighter X Tekken (notice they’re not going with versus?) save for it is expected to use the Street Fighter IV engine which means 2D gameplay with 3D character models.
No news as to when the game will hit retail, Capcom mumbled something along the lines that it wouldn’t be for a while but another interesting titbit that caught my attention is that Namco will be doing their own version of the game. I expect it will use the Tekken 6 engine.
Hopefully both versions will be on the same disc.
