Michael Pachter Claims 3DS Games Will Be More Expensive

One day some reporter will round up all of Michael Pachter’s predictions and see how many he got right.

Personally I think he gets more wrong than right but as I’m too lazy to do any research to back up my assumption you may as well take it with a pinch of salt.

The latest Pachter prediction sees the video game industry analyst claim that games for Nintendo’s upcoming 3DS handheld system will be more expensive than their DS counterparts…

“We view the 3DS as a revolutionary device, and expect its launch to spur hardware and software sales. Due to the unique 3DS experience previewed by Nintendo at E3 this year, we believe Nintendo will be able to sell millions of units even at a price of upwards of $250. From a software perspective, we believe Nintendo will be able to increase DS software prices, from a blended average of around $25 today to over $29 next year.”

Actually I think I’ll do some research on Mr. Pachter and see how accurate he actually is.
