Two Directors Up For Wolverine 2 Gig
It seems that Twentieth Century Fox are pressing ahead with their plans to make X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2.
Now it has been leaked that two directors are in the running to make the unwanted (by this writer anyway) sequel.
Up first is Cloverfield director Matt Reeves whose next movie is the Vampire fantasy Let Me In. Other than a couple of TV episodes, Reeves’ other directorial credits are pretty slim.
Then we have Tony Scott who has directed bucket loads of movies. The brother of Oscar winning director Ridley Scott, Tony Scott has given us Top Gun, Days of Thunder, Beverley Hills Cop 2, Enemy of the State, Spy Game, Man on Fire and the Taking of Pelham 123.
Personally if they are going to insist on giving us Wolverine 2 then I wouldn’t mind seeing Tony Scott do it.
Wolverine 2 is scheduled for release next summer so Twentieth Fox will probably announce the director pretty soon. We’ll keep you posted.
