Josh Hutcherson Tested For Spider-Man And Looked
The casting of Andrew Garfield as the new Spider-Man in Marc Webb’s upcoming reboot has polarized fans everywhere.
Personally, I feel that the role should have gone to Josh Hutcherson and after watching his screen-test (in the embed below) I am even more convinced that Hutcherson should have landed the gig.
Check out the screen-test. It is a re-enactment of the famous scene where the school bullies attack Peter Parker just after he’s developed his Spidey powers.
Interesting thing though, it’s unbelievably well produced. It’s got a soundtrack, stunts, cable work and all kinds of flashy camera angles. It’s definitely not what I thought a screen-test would look.
All I can say after watching it is Andrew Garfield’s screen-test must have been super awesome.
