It was probably the greatest NBA coup of all time when the Miami Heat managed to get Dwayne Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh for the next season. But they are not done, yet. Pat Riley is still looking for complementary players to support his star trio. And he seems to be successful in exactly doing that.

The Heat just agreed with Eddie House, 32 years of age, on a 2 year contract, which pays him $2.8 million, with a player option of $1.4 million the second year. This was confirmed by House’s agent Mark Bartelstein in an interview with Yahoo!Sports on Thursday.

Over the past three years, House has put himself on the map as a solid clutch shooter, when he proved his talents multiple times in big games for the Boston Celtics.
He is an above average three-point shooter (749 treys with an approximately 40% conversion rate).

House is not new to the Miami Heat. He played there three seasons from 2000-2003, and then joined eight different teams subsequently. But the Heat will still continue to look into additional free agents. According to a league source, they are currently in contact with Tracy McGrady.
