St. Andrews didn’t work out for him. However, we saw little sparks of his talent and overall a solid performance from Tiger Woods.

That gives him and his fans an optimistic outlook on next week’s tournament at Firestone, where he is singed up for the Bridgestone Invitational. He won the World Golf Championship seven times and is also the defending champion on that course.

Last year, Woods had a close rally with Padraig Harrington, but managed to come in and win the title. Along with that, he became the first golf player to win a PGA Tour tournament seven times on the same course.

Woods has won Firestone every year since 2005 – with the exception of 2008 when he had to pass because of a knee injury. After the Bridgestone Invitational, the final major championship of this season will be the last opportunity for Tiger not to remain without a title this year.

  1. Hey… I don’t know if you’ve been making changes, but your pages aren’t displaying correctly for me. The borders of the text are overlapping. I all worked fine the last time I was here. I don’t know if it’s me or if you’ve made a change… Just thought you might want to look at it. Thanks! Francesco Harriage
