Hollywood Snap Up The Rights To Another Graphic Novel

It is common knowledge that Hollywood producers are on a mission to snap up the rights to every Graphic Novel ever made.

So while we’re on the topic, news has just been released that Cats & Dogs and Get Smart producer Andrew Lazar has snapped up the rights to develop a movie based on the graphic novel; Lore.

The plot of Lore sees a guy who finds out that all the monsters and creatures from folklore are in fact real and very much among us. After this shocking discovery he finds out that there is actually a super secret squad who are responsible for hunting down and fighting the beasties. Think Men in Black meets Hellboy and you get the basic idea.

Lore was created by Ashley Wood and TP Louise for IDW Publishing.

Lazar has hired Priest screenwriter Cory Goldman to start working on a script with Jeremy Lott.
