Nicolas Cage Hints At Two More Ghost Rider Movies

Nicolas Cage has revealed that he has signed on for not one but TWO Ghost Rider movies.  (At least that’s the way I’m looking at it based on what he said) On a recent appearance on the Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson the Oscar Winning Actor revealed…

“I’ll tell you something, we’re going to go for two.  (see?  why would he put it like that?) There’s going to be a new [Ghost Rider], I just made the deal today.”

Ghost Rider 2 will be directed by Crank duo Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor and is expected to go in front of the cameras in the autumn. No release date has been announced.

So, we’re going to get two Ghost Rider movies eh?

Not sure what to think about that. On one hand I want to see Ghost Rider back on the silver screen but on the other I’m not sure if Nic Cage is the actor I want to play Johnny Blaze.

It seems that Cage is going out of his way to lock down the character whom he professes to love so much when if he really did love him, he’d let him go. (Isn’t that what that song says to do with something you love?)
