Iron Man star Terrence Howard has signed on for NBC’s upcoming Law and Order spinoff; Law & Order: Los Angeles.

Howard will join an interesting cast which includes Skeet Ulrich, Doctor Octopus; Alfred Molina and Corey Stall.

Projected for a Fall 2010 season premiere on NBC,[3] this will be the first American Law & Order series set outside of New York City. So far, Skeet Ulrich and Alfred Molina are the only actors to be cast in the series, as Det. Rex Winters and ADA Peter Morales, respectively. (we can now add Terrence Howard’s name)

Apparently Howard will only appear in half of the episodes as he doesn’t want his movie career to suffer.

Law & Order: Los Angeles will be the sixth Law & Order show following on the footsteps of the original show and the spinoffs; Trial by Jury, Conviction, Special Victims Unit and Criminal Intent.
