Uncharted 3 Could Have Move Functionality If The Story Demands It

According to Naughty Dog community manager Arne Meyer they will only add 3D technology and motion control support to the upcoming Uncharted 3 if it “fits into the story.”

“What we may do with this technology depends on how it fits into the story we want to do, so we haven’t made any decisions at this time. Generally speaking, it is an exciting technology to see come to fruition in the home, as it opens a variety of ways developers can innovate with their narrative and with their games. Utilising the Move is certainly an option we would consider – again, if it fits in with our narrative and design goals,”

I could see Move integration working well on those on-rail sections when you’re in a car or something but anything else then it’s just going to feel tacked on.

I can’t wait for Uncharted 3 and have every faith that if they do add 3D or Move support then Naughty Dog will do an awesome job of it.
