Ving Rhames has confirmed that he will be reprising the role of Luther Stickell in Paramount Studio’s upcoming Mission Impossible 4.

Rhames, who can be seen in the soon to be released Piranha 3D revealed on an episode of US chat show Lopez Tonight that he will once again team up with Tom Cruise. He has appeared in all three Mission Impossible movies to date.

The fourth Mission Impossible movie is being directed by Pixar’s Brad Bird, produced by Star Trek director JJ Abrams and written by Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec.

Shaun of the Dead star Simon Pegg is also expected to return for Mission Impossible 4 having appeared in Mission Impossible 3.

Mission Impossible 4 is scheduled for release on December 16th, 2011.
