Paramount Sign Up Iron Man Writers For Their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Reboot

According to Deadline, Paramount has brought in a pair of new writers for their planned live-action reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Iron Man writers Art Marcum and Matt Holloway have been charged with rebooting the Turtles franchise which started life back in 1984 as a comic book. The Turtles then went on to star in four television series and four feature films.

Michael Bay’s Platinum Dunes are producing the reboot and the plan is to start a brand new series of feature films.

Personally I cannot wait for this movie. While the CGI effort a couple of years back was solid enough I have always preferred the live-action Turtles’ movies regardless of how cheesy they were.
