It has been confirmed that Toby Maguire will be replaced as Peter Parker in the prequel to the Spiderman franchise. The younger character will be played by actor, Andrew Garfield. But now the question is who will play his love interest?

According to THR, there are six names in contention for the part. Although, they also report that there is a possibility that none of these actresses will pan out.

As of now, one of these young actresses may be the lady love of Spiderman:

Imogen Poots, 21, is currently working on the “Fright Night” remake
Lily Collins, the 21-year-old daughter of rocker, Phil Collins. She appeared in “The Blind Side”
Teresa Palmer, 24, is now appearing in “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.”
Ophelia Lovibond, 24, recently appeared in 2009’s “Nowhere Boy.”
Emma Roberts, 19, niece of “Eat Pray Love’s” Julia Roberts.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead, 25, is currently starring in “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.”
