The kooky reality show family has proven again that America has not had its fill. The premiere episode that kicks off season 5 of the show attracted almost 4.7 million viewers. Numbers like those make this season premiere the Kardashian’s most watched ever.

It also makes the episode second only to their last season finale episode which peaked the interest of 4.8 million viewers. These are E!s biggest numbers for a telecast of all time.

But, in terms of reality show numbers, the “Jersey Shore” is still bringing in more viewers. For its second season premiere, the MTV show attracted 5.3 million viewers. The music video network has not seen numbers like this in over seven years.

“Jersey Shore” continues to draw viewers in with their partying escapades. With all of these viewers tuning in, no wonder “the situation” is pulling down $60,000 a pop.
